- SHOWRSHIELD was designed to be very lightweight, comfortable, safe & water-resistant while showering. We use a high-grade durable lightweight plastic for the clear facial shield. The plastic shield conforms to your forehead providing a flexible water-deflecting seal. We donโt use a glass shield because it is heavy, inflexible, non-confirming, expensive, & a serious safety hazard if it shatters if dropped in the shower.
- We use only high grade polyethylene clear plastic for the facial shield for its lightweight, durability, strength & flexible conforming properties which makes the ShowrShield so effective. We use a plastic shield, because the synthetic rubber seal that is fastened to the clear shield must be very lightweight, durable & made from a flexible material that tightly conforms & seals to various head shapes and sizes. The adjustable band uses Goggle type elastic band that makes it one-size -fits -all
- Before purchasing please note that we do not use a glass shield as it is very heavy, inflexible, non-conforming and will not seal properly to the unique and various head shapes and sizes.
- The ShowrShield is a beauty product and should be used only for beauty applications only. We do not recommend using the ShowrShield for medical applications as it is not been certified for medical applications. The ShowrShield is entirely hypoallergenic and latex free.
- Please read the instructions so the Showrshield can perform to its maximum benefit. It is very important that you fasten the band below the hairline at lower back of your neck. This area is known as the Nape. If you fasten the band at the back of your head at the ear level, the ShowrShield is not being fastened at the correct location and may cause leaking. The face shield should protrude outwardly away from your chin if worn correctly.
